Actor Daniel Radcliffe (most famously known for his role as Harry
Potter) has close family connections in Banbridge, with his father Alan
growing up there. While on the BBC show ‘Who Do You Think You
Are?’, Radcliffe discovered that his great-great uncle Ernie (also from
Banbridge) had fought in WWI which inspired Daniel with his role as
Rudyard Kipling’s son in the film ‘My Boy Jack’.
