How would you describe your style?

I would describe my style as quite classic. I don’t opt for pieces

ZKLFKDUHWRREUDVKKRZHYHU,DOVRWU\QRWWRFKRRVHRXWƓWV

which could be construed as being boring. My style is in the

PLGGOHZKHUH,IRFXVRQƓWWHGEOD]HUVR[IRUGVKLUWVEDVLFDOO\

clothing items which are structured and make me feel good. I’m

a huge fan of anything monochrome as well as greys and navys

when it comes to the colour palette for the clothes.

What are your wardrobe staples that you can’t live

without?

Without a doubt my joggers from ASOS. Anything ASOS

really, they have such a huge range of pieces and there is

always something for everyone. I also have a love affair with

EOD]HUVVNLQQ\MHDQVDQGVRFNERRWWUDLQHUV,DOZD\VOLNHWR

be fashionably comfortable.

Do you have a favourite designer or high street brand?

For high street brand I would say ASOS, their own brand of

ASOS clothing is great quality, on trend and affordable. High

street brands often have off-seasons where their range isn’t

great. I feel with ASOS, every season is on point, they never

get it wrong...yet. I also wear glasses and I would highly

recommend Mulvenna Opticians. Their glasses range is

wonderful, and I am obsessed with their statement range.

Do you have any style icons?

Surprisingly, no! We all obviously take inspiration from

EUDQGVDQGSXEOLFƓJXUHVEXW,EHOLHYHLI\RXōUHFUHDWLYH

enough, you adapt and change and create your own unique

style. You do you!

Do you have a different wardrobe for your work life and social

life?

I think it all really depends on the occasion, whether it is for

work or for socialising. As a hair stylist, product brand creator

and salon owner, I do have my work only clothes. These

are ones that have got the stains of hair colour or product

embedded on them. As a stylist, my must-have product at

home is black clothing dye. There is always one night a week

I’m sure to be dyeing the work wardrobe. The joys!

Has your style changed over the years?

environment, current fashion trends and fashion in society.

It’s lovely to see we are not stuck in a moment in time and we

can always look back and think, ‘oh god why did I wear that

RXWƓW"ō3HUVRQDOO\LWōVDOZD\VIXQWRVHHVW\OHVLQIDVKLRQDQG

hair coming back in from years ago, but we can always have a

modern twist on these.

What are your fashion pet peeves?

Crocs! I have no idea who invented them, but they need to

be banned forever. They do not belong in fashion. Other than

crocs, I am quite open to most styles! I think...
