Laird Law Male Grooming Venue of The Year 2018/19 has went from

strength to strength after winning Male Grooming Salon of the Year for
the second consecutive year. Not only has it been a privilege to be given

that title, it was a standard we set ourselves and maintained. We have lived

up to that name and never let anything less than that standard leave our
shop.

We have educated ourselves more with seminars from Menspire, Ben

Brown and Ruger Barber – we are always keen to learn and develop our

• Level 3, which allows me to lecture part time in the NRC colleges.
  From that I went on to help with the board at the NRC to reconstruct

the barbering course and help modernise it, bringing hairdressing and

barbering together. We had a meeting in Londonderry/Derry for an in-
depth discussion and how we can take it forward.

I have continued to extend the range of products and services we offer,

providing training to my team so that we are all providing the same top
standard for every service. We now currently offer steamed facials, facial

massages and gold collagen masks to our clients, offering relaxation at
LWVƓQHVW:HVWRFNWKHKLJKHVWTXDOLW\RISURGXFWVWKDWZHWKLQNPDWFK

the worth of our clients. We have shave kits from Marram.co and special

chrome brush and bowl that can be engraved with a personal message for
that special person or occasion.

We offer wedding packages to cater for the groom and his party. We

can close off the shop to allow for a full wedding experience for their big

day to allow them to feel special. We can travel to the groom and party

also to provide our service.

We have branched into new business ventures and are currently listed

as a trusted supplier of the prestigious Galgorm Resort & Spa. We have

linked up with other well-known brands to create competitions and

advertisements such as Remus Uomo, Hire Class, Scott McGarry Gladiator

Recently we teamed up with HireClass and Galgorm Resort and Spa

and talking through the service that the groom and groomsmen can

experience at Laird Law Male Grooming.

We’ve had a very successful and busy year in our new premises in the

Tower Centre. Our new salon was brought to life by Terry Design bespoke

PDNHƓWFRPSDQ\EULQJLQJWKHYLVLRQWRUHDOLW\ZKLFKLVVRPHWKLQJ,DP

very proud of. I am proud of my team and what we’ve achieved in a year.

We always want to strive and be at the top of the game, pushing ourselves.

We intend to expand and open another shop within the next year.

I currently have a strong team of two barbers who like myself, have a

passion for the job. Each one has their own individual style that clients

can choose from to suit their own preference. My team are dressed

immaculately at work, we like to dress like gentlemen and professionals.

But we keep the atmosphere relaxed, friendly, personal and fun, always

making sure we put a smile on the client’s face or make them laugh.
