ith years of experience in the fashion
and beauty industry, I have had the
privilege of becoming a successful freelance
makeup artist. I have built a wide range of
clients from bridal makeup to commercial,
I have had amazing opportunities to travel
to various parts of the world, creating
bridal and editorial looks for social events.
It has taken me several years to establish
myself as a successful makeup artist. With
my experience in the makeup industry I
have learnt over time that women want to
look flawless and beautiful. I pride myself
in being able to achieve this by enhancing
their features and accentuating their natural
beauty.
My passion and dedication has paid off
over the years as I was delighted to not only
win Northern Ireland Makeup Artist of 2019
at the Wedding Awards, but to follow on
and win Makeup Artist Specialist of 2019 in
the Hair and Beauty Awards. This has givenme the incentive to open my own makeup
studio and training school, which is opening
this month. Within the studio there will
be a beautician offering a wide range of
skin and beauty treatments, along with a
highly qualified nail and lash technician. I
myself will provide makeup applications and
provide training for those who are interested
in a career within the makeup industry. I plan
to offer a wide range of training in makeup
and offer my students support throughout
their makeup career. There will be a number
of ongoing makeup courses for both artists
and complete beginners.
I meet all different types of clients and
change the way people see themselves.
That’s the most amazing part of it all,
whether I am creating a transformation for a
young lady on her formal or a bride on her
big day, my job is to make that person feel
more glamorous and beautiful and that for
