Ballet Philippines will be opening
its 50th season with a rendition
of this timeless classic. A staple in
the company’s repertoire since
1978, this month’s staging of the
Tchaikovsky masterpiece brings
together their fi nest talents
alongside Mariiksky Theatre’s
Kirov Ballet. The show will run
from 30 August to 1 September
and 7 to 8 September at the

Grammy award-winning electronic dance
music (EDM) duo The Chainsmokers returns
to Manila for the fi rst stop of their World
War Joy Tour. The concert tour sets off the

in November. Embarking on a month-long
Asia tour before heading back to the US and
Canada, the pair will be visiting Bangkok,
