Sards Bark Park
This 1.2ha dog park in Port Elizabeth is the perfect place for
dogs to socialise and run free. If you’re looking for a safe spot
to let them roam around outdoors while you get some much-
needed time to relax, pop into the K9 Coffee Bar in the park
and enjoy the views of Sardinia Bay. Dogs are welcome to go
off leash and explore, make friends and play with the other
pups in the area.
The park is run by Sardinia Bay Kennels and was created
to be a haven for dogs.
It’s open Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am-12pm and on
Saturdays from 9-11am. You can also book a private one-hour
slot on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9am and 5pm,
Saturdays between 11am and 5pm, and Sundays between
10am and 5pm, or join the Sunday group from 9-10am.
Pricing begins with an annual administration fee of R100
and monthly membership fees of R75 for one dog, R135 for
two dogs and R180 for three dogs, entitling you to three
open-time and/or group visits a month. VIP membership is
available for more frequent visitors at R600 a month.

mountain-biking, among other activities?
Scenic Buffalo Gorge, situated on a farm
near Middelburg, Mpumalanga, is an escape
to nature packed with awe-inspiring views
and environmental wonders, including spring
waterfalls and stunning rock formations. If
you’re after more than a walk and want to
treat your dogs to a special weekend, Buffalo
Gorge also permits pet-friendly camping. Your
four-legged friends will be thrilled to explore
this impressive natural expanse and connect
with their wild roots!
Day visitor fees are R75 per adult, R35
per child (aged three to 10) and R100 per
mountain biker.
