CITRUSFRUITS:
Theseareamazingforvariouschoresaroundthehouse,
withouttoxicingredientsandharshchemicals.Combined
withsalt,citrusfruitremovessoapstainsandotherassorted
messes,whilegettingridofbadodour.Thesameconcoction
canbeusedontapsandsinks.
Forthemicrowave:Fillabowlwithhalfacupofwater,
addthejuiceofhalfalemonandputtherestofthe
lemoninsidethebowl.Bringthewatertoaboil,andlet
thesteamremaininsidethemicrowaveforaboutfiveto
10 minutes.Thegreaseshouldcomeoffeasilyandthe
lemonwilleliminateodours.Wipethemixtureawaywith
aspongeorwetcloth.
Choppingboard:Giveyourwoodenchoppingboards
aspatreatmentwiththepurifyingbenefitsofsaltand
lemon.Sprinkletheboardwithcoarsesalt.Usinghalf
alemonfacedown,scrubthesurfacewhilesqueezing
slightlytoreleasethejuiceasyoudoso.Lettheboardsit
forfiveminutesbeforescrapingoffthedirtandrinsing.
Bathtubs: Give your bathtub an organic rub. Wet the
inside of the tub, cut a grapefruit in half, sprinkle a
generous amount of salt onto it and use it to scrub away.

versatile alternative to

Combine an equal ratio
of vinegar and water and,
using an old sock; gently

Shine your glasses: Soak

in diluted white vinegar
or dip a wash cloth into

Fill small plastic bags
with vinegar-soaked
rags and tie them tightly
