TEAM EFFORT

Members of the Burlingtons
Legal team took part in the
London Legal Walk this
summer, to raise money for
the London Legal Support
Trust.
The charity raises funds
for free legal services in
London and the south-
east. It supports the Law
Centres Network and pro
bono agencies – helping
to prevent homelessness,
resolve debt problems,
fight exploitation and gain
care for the elderly and
disabled.
Katie Ashton, Lydia
Mills, Valeriya Volkova
and James Colclough – all
based at the law firm’s
Stratford Place office –
walked the 10km route in
two hours.

SUITE DREAMS AT

THE SHERATON

Sheraton Grand London Park
Lane has partnered with
Hatchards bookshop and a sleep
expert to create the “ZZZ-list”: a
library of specially curated books
that will help guests get a good
night’s sleep.
Chosen by Hatchards and Dr
David Lewis, the books reside in
the Piccadilly hotel’s club lounge,
which is open to guests of the
suites, club rooms and members.
Categorised into Generation
Z, Millennial and Generation
X, each book has been selected
according to a set of guidelines
that help to induce sleep – such
as the use of short sentences,
simple narrative structures and
concluding chapters. Guests can
read the books in their room or in
the lounge.

SUMMER STREETS
Regent Street’s Summer Streets
festival is taking place this summer
for its seventh consecutive year.
The remaining dates are on August
18 and September 15, and will see the
length of the street pedestrianised
for each Sunday – with visitors able
to enjoy retail offerings, restaurants
and open air experiences highlighting
sustainability and wellness.
Exercise and wellness brand
Lululemon has partnered with
Barry’s Bootcamp to bring a series
of workout classes to Regent Street,
while Asics is offering running
challenges, workshops and education
sessions. Tommy Hilfiger will install
ping-pong tables on the street;
and L’Occitane and Kiehl’s will offer
consultations and treatments.
“Green games” will highlight Regent Street’s dedication to sustainability,
and live music will soundtrack both days, with three stages featuring
brass bands, steel drums, jazz and string quartets. Stalls from restaurants
including Hawksmoor, Bentley’s, Tibits and Heddon Street Kitchen will
serve on-the-go bites.
