Mayfair Times held a party to celebrate
the launch of our annual Middle Eastern-
focused edition. The event was co-hosted
by Elizabeth Filippouli, founder of the Global
Thinkers Forum and Athena40 – the first
global ranking of the top 40 most powerful
female minds. Its committee members include
British-Turkish writer Elif Shafak – our cover
star for the Middle Eastern issue.
The party was held at the Halcyon Gallery
on New Bond Street, where around 150
guests enjoyed champagne and canapés
while getting a sneak preview of the new Bob
Dylan exhibition: A New Collection of Original
Paintings.
Guests left with goody bags with treats
including macarons from Ladurée and
notebooks featuring Bob Dylan sketches,
