ow we could tell you about Ragley

Hall, its beautiful park and gardens

and lovely Warwickshire setting.

We could tell you about all the

activities available at the weekend

like Uncle Tacko’s Imaginarium, the Tree

Climbing and Zip Wire experiences or the

multitude of Lake activities, to name just a

fraction of what’s on offer. To be honest we

haven’t got enough space to list the extensive

range of activities available. Or we could

just list part of the amazing line-up of bands on stage

over the course of the weekend: Skunk Anansie, The

Fratellis, Ash, The Feeling, Craig Charles, Artful

Dodger, Sleeper, Tony Christie, Lucy Spraggan, The

Christians, The Real Thing, The Stickmen, Beans On

Toast, Thrill Collins, Eiza And The Bear, Oh My God

It’s the Church, Dutty Moonshine Big Band and that’s

just a taste of what’s on offer, we definitely don’t have

enough space to list all the bands! New for this year is

Thursday camping with a selection of food and drink

vendors and entertainment available, before the full

programme kicks off on Friday. Come Thursday, stay

till Monday, consider yourself Called! Check out the

Dubs By The Beach

Sun Sea and Dubs

T

he second incarnation of this show,

organised by SDBC, is set for 18th

August. New for this year, the show

is going to be held on the adjacent

larger green this year. This will put

the show right in the middle of the facilities as

well as being able to accommodate a greater

number of clubs and dubs. If you’ve never

been before, this is a one-day show, right by the

beach. Club participation is at the heart of the

show. Turn up, park up and enjoy a day by the

sea with your bus. What could be better? Foot

traffic is free, but at just £10 per vehicle and £

for a Beach Buggy, driving there won’t break

the bank. All proceeds raised this year will go to

their nominated charity - Jamie’s Wish, a local

charity. Grab your picnic and Beach/Club towels

and make a plan to spend the day at the beach

on what we hope will be a glorious sunny day.
