STEP ONE

Locate the front of your van and remove the wheel,

followed by the plastic undertray.

STEP TWO

Remove the 21 mm bolt on the bottom ball joint. Then

just give it a tap with a hammer to free it.

STEP THREE

Remove the 2 x 21 mm pivot bolts which hold the

lower arm in place via the bushes. There is one at the

front and one at the rear of the wishbone.

STEP FOUR

You should now be able to wiggle the front arm out. It

looks like this.

STEP FIVE

Removing the original bushes will be easier if your

bushes are old and worn - ours had only done 30,000

miles and were in very good condition - which was

a shame. We used a combination of flames and air

chisel to remove them. Some people use a hydraulic

press as well. This step can be a real pain, even with

the right professional kit.

STEP SIX

Clean the surface of the arm if required and then fit

the new bushes.
