Never Ending
We bought our T4 last year and it’d just had the rust done and a full respray. I’ve
wanted a camper forever and always thought it was going to be a dream until
my wife, Paula, found this on gumtree! I thought what the hell and went for it.
Needless to say our boys, Joe 12 and Toby 8, were very happy.
It’s a full conversion, lowered 45mm on Vogtland springs, remapped, stainless
steel exhaust, BK Racing 18’ alloys etc, the list goes on. Every time I think it’s
finished, I think of something else, I’d like to do.

Realising a Dream
Since owning a Vivaro camper for over five years it’s just always
been a dream to have a Transporter... Since becoming a mortgage
broker in London, I was in a need of a vehicle to use to see my
existing clients and allow me to avoid trips to coffee shops or going
into clients’ workplaces. Thankfully I sold my Vivaro and I landed
a pretty basic Caravelle. Being a car fanatic and owning three other
cars (a Clio Sport 182 turbo converted to 302bhp, a BMW 740D and
a modified Passat B5), I was ready for my next venture with the
Caravelle. Having purchased VW Bus magazine and read about(^52)

some amazing projects, I was ready to implement exactly what I had
in my mind and also re-visit some of the mods I did to my Vivaro
camper. One year later and it’s all ready. A few months back I was
at the Peterborough Modified Nationals and coming back from the
coffee store my Caravelle had over fifteen people gathered around
it. It was the best moment of my life, besides from getting married of
course! Again thanks to VW Bus I was able to fulfil my dreams and
definitely it’s getting noticed every time it’s on the road.
