For the canine friends of visiting
dubbers, Barking Mad Dog Rescue
had brought with them an agility
course that you could put your dog
through its paces on, for a small
donation. They also had a raffle
that included as one of its prizes
one of the largest bottles of Jack
Daniels you are ever likely to see.
On Sunday, to keep the kids
entertained Lawrence the One-
Man-Band kicked off the morning
proceedings and this was followed at
lunchtime by an excellent Greatest
Showman party with songs and lots
of audience participation. Tom Dibb
was again on hand and not only sang
his own material, but threw in the
odd cover and regaled his audience
with tales from his travels when he
drove his T25, Pickle, to Australia and
the inspiration behind his tunes. The
headline act for the weekend was “It’s
A Kind Of Queen”, unsurprisingly a
Queen Tribute band, who entertained

Social Club had a vigorous musical
chairs competition with their
camping equipment taking place.
Further down the field the Dubz
Outlaws took over quite a large area,
one that required not just one fire on
Saturday night, no they had three on
the go at once! The forecasted storms
and heavy rain didn’t arrive on site
on Sunday morning, but entrants
into the Show and Shine competition
spoke of torrential downpours on the
way over, luckily the sun shone all
day and the cars and vans that had
been entered shone and sparkled
exactly as their owners liked. This
year’s contest was judged by “VW
Royalty”, Toni and Denis Cunliffe
from Slambassador, who did a great
job, unless you’ve done this task

Mick, Chris and friends were from the shadowy world known as
Livin’ Daft, their medical qualifications remain in doubt, but the
effectiveness of the medications was not as they definitely kicked in.
AT THE SHOW
partygoers with all their favourite
melodies made famous by Freddie
and the boys and even threw in a few
lesser known tracks, just for good
measure. The event was a complete
success for campers and traders
