several others, but according to CJ,
nothing else compares to a Reimo.
Since moving into this unit in
2016 CJ thinks that have converted
around 200 vans. and about
60% will have been T6s, the rest
are mainly T5s, with the odd T4
and Crafter thrown in. As you
can see in the photos, they will
occasionally get their hands on a
T3, and even a Land Rover; Colin
likes to mix it up now and again
to keep his boys on their toes.
Last year the company
introduced a hire fleet with a fully
converted T5, which has been very
successful, with an impressive
amount of bookings. “We kept
getting calls from people asking
if we rented vans as well as

CJ recently set up a new company
making beds called, Easy Beds (
see Bus Kit on page twelve) and
has just had his first design pass
the M1 test, so it’s now full steam
ahead with the manufacture
and fitting of his new bed range
into his conversions. He’s also
working on a new design for a twin
swivel seat base. Interior units
are all made-to-measure (they are
about to acquire a CNC machine)
including nice touches such as
their own LED lighting which is
routered into the units, and they
mainly use a combination of Waeco
and SMEV to fit their kitchens.

he confirmed. To be honest he’s
rather surprised at the amount of
bookings that it received over the
winter months - he expected it to
be a summer thing - but if the van
is not out and about, it’s useful to
have it sitting in the workshop as a
demo van to show off their abilities
to potential now customers.
So, with additions planned for a
hire fleet, combined with beds and
swivels coming into production, it
looks like there is no stopping the
company’s growth at the moment.
