Prior to delivery, assembled
bouquets are stored in this
freezer and inspected by
quality control workers who
remove any flowers that do
not look healthy. Damaged
outer-layer petals, however,
are left in place to protect
those beneath them, to be
pulled off by the customer
when the bouquet arrives.
