LEGO CREATOR EXPERT
HARLEY-DAVIDSON FAT BOY

Like Lego, but irked at the Creator Expert line’s focus on four-wheeled
vehicles? Well it’s your turn now, bikers, with the Lego Creator Expert
Harley-Davidson Fat Boy. This monster set’s 1023 pieces let you craft
a foot-long model of the real-life motor-mammoth. Spin the rear tyre,
and the engine and dual exhaust pipes spring to life. You can turn the
handlebars while driving it across the kitchen table, and there’s a handy
kickstand to park the thing when everyone asks you to stop. Not
enough? Find out if your local Lego store’s getting the 69,569-piece
full-size take, with Wi-Fi animation control plus sound and light effects.

Every ROG has its day

ASUS ROG PHONE 2

Mobile gaming is growing even bigger than Piers Morgan’s ego, so it’s
no surprise we’ve seen quite a few smartphones launched with PUBG
aficionados in mind. The latest gamer-targeted blower is this, a
significantly improved sequel to last year’s ROG Phone. The hefty slab
is the first phone to pack the Snapdragon 855+ platform, as well as a
behemoth 6000mAh battery and a shedload of gaming accessories.
The screen has also been given a refresh, Asus adding a larger 6.59in
AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. And when you need to take
a break from racking up your kill count to snap some lovely foliage, it
rocks a 48MP main lens and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle shooter.

Sky: Children of
the Light £free / iOS

Are you brimming over with patience
and empathy? Neither’s likely to be at
the forefront of your mind when playing
games, which still tend towards gritty
grimness and you going PEW PEW PEW.
But with Sky: Children of the Light, you’ll
need them both – in spades.
In this relatively free-roaming adventure,
with a smattering of puzzling and a dollop
of social multiplayer, you’re one of the
titular children, locating spirits and returning
them to the stars. You have lush landscapes
to explore, and regularly take to the air by
way of a magic cape. But you might spend
quite a lot of time staring slack-jawed
at how something this achingly beautiful
exists on a phone.
