oing any kind of work on
your phone is never ideal,
but sometimes it’s the
only kit you’ve got on you, so you
might as well make sure it’s as well
suited to the job as possible.
While Samsung seems to have
forgotten about it, the Galaxy
S10 is still capable of switching
to DeX mode – a desktop-like OS
activated by attaching the phone
to a monitor using a USB-to-HDMI
adaptor. But while that might come

in handy, there are other reasons
why we’ve picked out the S10.
We’ve specifically gone for the
5G version because it has a larger
battery (4500mAh) and the
biggest Quad HD+ screen (6.7in),
so tasks you might normally
complete on a laptop won’t feel
quite so cramped. Plus, y’know,
it’s got 5G.
There’s 8GB of RAM and 256GB
of storage on board as standard,
so you won’t have to worry about

filling it up any time soon, but you
can also expand it by up to 512GB
with a microSD card.
Of course, it’s not all work and
no play: the triple camera offering
on the back, which is made up of
a pair of 12MP sensors and a 16MP
one, takes absolutely stonking
pictures, with the ultra-wide lens
capturing shots most other phones
could only dream about. This is an
Android all-rounder that’ll make life
on the road that little bit easier.

MOTO G7
POWER

If you rely on your
phone for work, the
last thing you need
is battery anxiety.
For stamina, they
don’t come better
than the Moto G7
Power. Thanks to
its fairly low-res
screen and huge
5000mAh battery,
it’ll genuinely last
two full days.

O
The tiny cutout for the
10MP selfie camera
and 8MP depth sensor
means the S10 also
looks the part, with the
AMOLED display curving
away over each side.

OO
With the display filling
the front of the S10
there’s no space for a
fingerprint sensor, so
Samsung has integrated
it into the screen – a neat
and effective party trick.
