Pug cakes for Mr Kipling: Premier
Foods has unveiled the latest
addition to its limited-edition Mr
Kipling cakes. The three-strong
Pug lineup comprises Whirls, Mini Batts and
Slices (rsp: £1) – all of which are available now in
Tesco. They will roll into other retailers at the end
of the month.

Rice Krispies Squares campaign: Kellogg’s is to
kick o the  rst push in  ve years for Rice Krispies
Squares. A £2m investment will include a TV ad
running from 26 August for  ve weeks.

Eos rolls out CBD skincare
lineup: Essex’s Eos Scienti c has
unveiled a luxury range of CBD-
infused skincare care products.
The  ve-strong Ambience Apothecary lineup
rolled into Boots this week, with variants includ-
ing Harmony & Calm Body Oil and Soothe &
Relieve Muscle Balm (rsps: £45-£60/50ml-200ml).

Whole Earth goes outdoors:
Whole Earth will run its “largest-
ever” outdoor and digital push
from 26 August. ‘One Jar, Endless
Possibilities’ will appear in railway and tube sta-
tions for six weeks across London and the south
east, backed by paid social media activity using
the #ItsNotJustForToast hashtag.

Plant-based jerky trio: Vegan ready meals startup
Plantifull Food Co has added plant-based jerky
made from fruit, vegetables and wheat pro-
tein. Hot Tomato, Teriyaki Pineapple and BBQ
Mushrooms (rsp: £2-£2.50/30g) were the  rst of
their kind in the UK, the brand claimed.

Snowdonia chutney quartet:
Snowdonia Cheese Company has
added a four-strong range of chut-
ney. Balsamic Caramelised
Onion; Fig & Apple; Pear, Date & Cognac; and
Spiced Tomato & Vodka (rsp: £2.60/100g-114g)
will go on sale in the autumn.

Hey Girls at Central England Co-op: Central
England Co-op has linked up with Hey Girls, the
social enterprise aimed at tackling period pov-
erty, to sell its environmentally friendly sanitary
pads and menstrual cups in selected stores.

Pure Bite lands at Morrisons:
Healthier snacking startup Pure
Bite has secured a major listing
with Morrisons for its range of
rice and nut clusters – six months a er being
acquired by Northern Ireland’s Tayto Group for an
undisclosed sum.

Nomo wins Waitrose listing: Chocolate startup
Nomo will roll its range of vegan and free-from
choc bars into 215 Waitrose stores from 19 August.

its debut in ready meals
with a plant-based range
called Protein by Nature.
The six ambient SKUs
(rsp: £2.30/250g) o er a
variety of international
 avours and provide 20g
of protein per pack (8g
per 100g) through ingre-
dients such as pinto
beans, quinoa, wild rice
and wheatberries.
Low in sugar and
satfat, Mediterranean
Tabbouleh, Brazilian
Smoky Beans, Moroccan
Tagine, Indian Lentil
Dhal, Mexican Spicy
Grains and Vietnamese
Grains can be prepared
in two minutes.

ers: o er products that
are genuinely good for
you, rather than a prod-
uct masquerading as
healthy; keep it simple
and convenient; and
never compromise on
ta ste.”
A launch date and list-
ings for Protein by Nature
are yet to be con rmed,
but the range is likely to
 nd itself alongside the
likes of Mars’ new vege-
tarian Tasty Bites.

Grown, a range of all-nat-
ural fruit and nut snacks
available in Sainsbury’s
as part of the retailer’s
Future Brands initiative.

for shoppers.
The direct-to-consumer
service allows people to
order boxes of 12 or 24
bottles across Radnor’s
portfolio of plain,  a-
voured and functional
spring waters.
It also o ers the Powys
brand’s Fizz and Fruit
ranges for children, and
its Heartsease Farm
pressé lineup.
Prices range from
£13.46 to £17.52, with
free mainland UK deliv-
ery but no subscription
option.

Nespresso has worked with Swedish bicycle brand
Vélosophy to produce a bike made from recycled
aluminium co ee capsules. The limited-edition
Re:Cycle features a co ee pod-shaped bell and a
basket to hold on-the-go co ee cups. It is available
from Vélosophy at €1,290 (£1,195) plus shipping.
