REBECCA’S COMMENT

This bathroom was great to shoot in.

We got Chantelle to perch on the edge

of the bath with soft window light to the left,

and diffused light from above and behind.

Then we used a white reflector to subtly

fill in the shadows. As this was a full-length photo,

with all of our leggy model in the frame, I switched

to my Sigma 35mm f/1.4 prime. Even at a wide

aperture of f/2.2, by shooting at 35mm

and further away, we’ve got her whole

body sharp, and the background is

only slightly out of focus.
