REBECCA’S COMMENT

This was shot

in the kitchen/

diner area using the

large patio windows to

light her. We wanted to

create a more glamorous ‘going out’

portrait, so Leanne spruced up

Chantelle’s make-up and we got her to

wear some evening wear. I then explained

to Leanne how to use the ‘Rule of thirds’

and position the model’s eye/head on

intersecting lines. We put it on grid

display using the playback menu. Then

we used my 24-70mm lens and zoomed

in to 70mm to capture wider

and tighter compositions.
