LEANNE, 35 years old, is a
professional make-up artist from
Weston-super-Mare, in Somerset.
Her husband bought her a Canon
EOS 200D with a Canon EF 50mm
f/1.4 prime lens, and she asked for
our help to show her how to take
better beauty shots. Leanne was
struggling to find flattering ways to
take portraits that are interesting
and show off her make-up skills!

CANON PROREBECCA, 44 years old, is an
experienced pro portrait and
wedding photographer based in
Mendips, Somerset. She became a
photographer following her degree
in photography and after travelling
the world with her camera. In her
20-plus years as a pro she’s built
up a portfolio of top clients, and
she’s shot every type of portrait;
from the Duchess of Cambridge
for the Royal Photographic Society
to weddings with the legendary
