MATERIALS

If you have trouble staying inside the lines, white-embossing
your image is a quick and foolproof way to stop the colours
from bleeding into each other. No need to be perfect here!

Scribble the spiced
marmalade marker
on acetate and pick
up the ink using the
water pen.

5 Colour the stems and leaves
using the crushed olive
marker ink and water pen.

2 Colour all the fl owers,
re-apply the spiced
marmalade marker to the
acetate if more ink is
required.

6 Add shading to the leaves
and stems using the ink from
the peeled paint marker.

3 Add shading to the
fl owers using rusty
hinge marker and the
water pen.

7 Flood the background
with ink from the stormy
sky marker and let it pool
in areas for watermarks.

4 Create more shade and
depth to the fl owers using
the barn door marker and
water pen.

8 Highlight a few areas
over the stormy sky
with ink from the dusty
concord marker.

1 S

If the shading is too vibrant, just
add water over it and dab a little
pigment off with a clean cloth.

Staple your acetate to
white card for easy
visual reference.
