Cardmaking Stamping & Papercraft – August 01, 2019

These four cards show the variations that can be achieved by

switching out colours, embossing folders and the stamped scenes.

MATERIALS FOR ALL CARDS

1 Emboss green, eggplant, cherry or pacifi c card

135mm x 95mm with one of the listed embossing folders.

2 Distress the edges of crumb card 145mm x 100mm and

affi x the coloured panel on top.

3 Cut a white card panel for the middle of the work –

110mm x 45mm for the vertical versions and 45mm x 95mm

for the horizontal ones.

4 Run lace down the back left-hand sides of the vertical ones

and attach them to the card. Attach the horizontal ones to

the card then wrap lace around the bottom of them,

securing the ends at the back. Add white ribbon around all

the panels.

5 Die-cut a label #11 out of pear, pink, plum or pool card and a

scalloped circle out of vellum, and affi x them together on

the card front.

6 Die-cut a 3in circle out of blender card, stamp a Love Grows

Here tree scene on it then colour it with markers and add a

faux-stitch border with crumb marker.

7 Accent the image with glitter, then secure it over the vellum

with double-sided tape.

8 Tie twine around the bottom or left-hand side of the card in

a coordinating colour, then add two coordinating buttons in

the lower left-hand corner and three enamel dots or pearls

in the top right-hand corner.

10 Layer this all on folded white card 150mm x 210mm with

double-sided tape.
