These cards are a great example of the stylish results that


can be achieved when working with minimal supplies – like
stamps, inks and a little cardstock.

  • Stamps: My Favorite Things LJD Sweet Roses
    (set of 18); AnnaBelle Stamps BBD7 Backgrounds
    by Design 7 (set of 6)

  • Card: Scrapbook Boutique shadow, peach;
    smooth white

    • Ink pads: Versafi ne onyx black, smokey gray; Hero Arts
      fresh peach, mint julep, butter bar, pale tomato

    • Embellishments: AnnaBelle Stamps Sprinkles
      cocoa metallic

    • Adhesives: double-sided tape, mounting tape, liquid glue




MATERIALS FOR ALL CARDS


METHOD
1 Stamp Backgrounds by Design angled
lines on peach card 150mm x 80mm using
fresh peach ink.
2 Stamp a Sweet Roses sentiment on the
left-hand side 45mm from the bottom
using black ink, then attach this to folded
white card 300mm x 80mm with double-
sided tape.
3 Stamp fi ve solid fl owers on more white
card using mint julep and butter bar inks
and four solid leaves with smokey gray ink.
4 Stamp the fl ower and leaves outlines over
the top with black ink then fussy-cut them
all out.
5 Arrange the pieces around the sentiment
using mounting tape as shown.
6 Scatter cocoa sprinkles with liquid glue to
fi nish.

Stamping stripes in a background is an
attractive way to fi ll negative space.
