By Edna Morrisedie
METHOD
1 Stencil The Crafter’s Workshop mini ring doily and a fancy
feather (to act as a leaf) on sheer white fabric twice each with
texture paste and set them aside to dry.
2 Trim them, then spray them with a heavy application of Lindy’s
Stamp Gang starburst marigold, yellow orange and bells of
Ireland green.
3 Cut along the inner lines of each doily to make three different
sized rings for the layers of the fl owers.
4 Use a needle and thread to gather and bunch the rings, then
sew a black button to the centre one and stack them together
with glue dots.
5 Die-cut white card 100mm square with Spellbinders basic
lattice, then layer it on white leatherette card 110mm square
and black card 115mm square with mounting tape, and folded
white card 240mm x 120mm with double-sided tape.
6 Add the leaves and fl ower to the card centre with glue dots.
7 Stamp Waltzingmouse Stamps Country Labels 14 sentiment
on white card with black ink, cut it into a banner and tuck it
under the top fl ower layer with a glue dot.
8 Add small rhinestones to the top of the lattice as shown.
