delier glimmers above the table. One cannot help
but notice the mesmeric array of fabrics in every
area of the house, and in this room, an embroi-
dered pattern adorns the front and back of the
chairs, while a buff-colored Ultrasuede covers
their seats. The mahogany-paneled library also
benefi ts from luxe materials; its coziness is due in
part to the textured Ralph Lauren fabric installed
on the ceiling.
The kitchen renovation three years ago was
one of Anne’s favorite projects, which included
handmade tiles and hand-forged hardware. The
adjoining breakfast room is especially spectacular,
with a faux-painted ceiling by decorative artisan
and muralist Bryan King as its crowning glory. He
has contributed other works that add to the bespoke
nature of this couple’s thoroughly gracious home,
which is a true refl ection of the two. “They are both
interesting people and have such great taste,” says
Anne. “Working with them and getting to know
