has successfully

established it-

self as the go-to

solution for low to medium

outputs enabling between

10,000 and 40,000 cans to

be Ë lled per hour. In addi-

tion to quick commission-

ing and maximum hygiene

the system is convincing

with its exceptionally low

oxygen pickup and faster

format changeovers.

With its 21 filling and three

seaming stations the can filler

can quadruple output for most

manufacturers. During pro-

duction the amount of oxygen

pickup can be kept be extreme-

ly low; w it h a high deg ree of hy-

giene and product quality. All

of these criteria are fully met

by the Innofill Can C. The bells

on the filling valves are sealed

without gaps by PTFE expan-

sion joint s. Th is does away w it h

the need for the external water

lubrication system usually re-

quired.

The entire system is designed

to ensure an extremely high

standard of hygiene. At the

sa me t ime clea ning is a lso con-

siderably eased and optimum

product quality obtained.

The Innofill Can C is de-

signed to allow f lexible for-

mat setups and quick product

changeovers. At the same time

the computer-controlled, volu-

metric filling system ensures

uniform fill levels and thus

achieves a high filling accuracy

when processing the 330- and

500-milliliter cans.

“With our compact can filler

clients dont just get an econom-

ic advantage but an ecological

one as well,” says Andy Carter,

director of Sales UK & Ireland

at KHS. Because of the pat-

ented purging process during

filling this system has both ex-

tremely low oxygen pickup and

low CO2 consumption. And last

but not least, Carter adds, alu-

minum cans are one of the most

widely recycled materials.
