CHALMIT PROTECTA X LED

Camso introduces the Solideal RES Xtreme
NMAS, a new patented non-marking forklift tire,
which resolves the important safety issues linked
to static electricity generated in non-marking
tires (because of the silica used as the reinforcing
filler). It also reduces vibration, which increases
operator comfort and lowers heat build-up for en-
hanced tire life. Its design borrows key features
from the popular Solideal RES 660 Xtreme Series.

Chalmit, the leading luminaires manufac-
turer, has launched the Protecta X LED, a
revolutionary light for the logistics industry.
Up to 50% brighter than any traditional lin-
ear light on the market, the Protecta X has
a user-definable light distribution, a main-
tenance-free lifespan of over 120,000 hours
at 25’C, is easier to maintain, and thanks to
an optional battery stick, can be installed in
half the time.

Honeywell, the global technology provider, has
introduced a new high-performance industrial
printer with integrated label verification and
precision printing features that deliver error-
free printing. The Honeywell PX940 Industrial
Printer features the industry’s first internal
verification system providing customers in the
Middle East with defect free and accurate bar-
codes every time. Barcodes that do not meet an
established threshold are retracted.

The in-house developed Liebherr crane driver
elevator LiU P is desig ned to t ra n spor t t he opera-
tor in a save and efficient way to his workplace.
The LiUP saves the drivers energy and time
compared to climbing up several stairs. Service
engineers also save themselves the trouble of
climbing up stairs to the crane cab to carry out
maintenance work. The lift is capable of trans-
porting up to two people or a payload of 200 kg.

Rebuilt Flexis of-
fered with new
truck warranty
Narrow Aisle Ltd has an-
nounced that remanufac-
tured machines in its Flexi
ECO AC range of ‘second
life’ articulated reach
trucks are now offered
with the same factory war-
ranty terms as new-build
Flexi units.
“Demand for articulated
VNA equipment is grow-
ing and, as more compa-
nies opt to supplement
their materials handling
fleets with Flexi VNA
units, rebuilt trucks of-
fer a highly cost efficient
proposition,” says John
Maguire, managing di-
rector of Na r row A isle Ltd.
He continues: “Our Flexi
ECO AC trucks come with
an identical warranty to an
equivalent all-new model
but cost some 30 per cent
less. ‘Second life’ Flexis
are proving a particularly
popular option for users
who acquire materials
handling equipment on
contract hire packages
where all repair and main-
tenance costs are included
in the fixed term, monthly
charge.”
Flexi ECO AC trucks fea-
ture all new component
parts – only the truck
chassis, four counter-
weights and heavy fabri-
cations are re-used – and
these components are
ND tested and finished
to the highest standards
at Flexi’s UK manufactur-
ing plant in the Midlands.
