I am lost for
words

do I convert this beautiful original
vehicle, which would be ideal for
what I originally wanted. The engine
is the original 2.1 litre watercooled
boxer engine, which with fuel
injection produces a torque laden
112 bhp. This is coupled to a five
speed gearbox with a very low
‘crawler’ first gear that would enable
it to drive up a wall fully loaded. To
this day it has covered just 34,400
miles. Or should I try to keep it as it
is for posterity and look for another
example, one that will inevitably
require lots of money spending on it.
The only work I have had to do on
the bus in the 18 months and 2,000
miles that I’ve owned it, is to replace
the antifreeze, the thermostat, the
rear wiper blade and a bumper end
cap that I changed as the original
had a very slight split.
