The rear wiper
has been replaced!
The spare wheel
still has the original
tyre, sadly at more
than 30 years old it
would fail an MOT
if fitted, but it’s a
nice story
bought a 1965 split, a Canterbury
Pitt conversion which a guy at work
was selling. I paid him £325 for what
was then, an eleven year old bus. I
loved it, and remember thinking at
the time, ‘why doesn’t everyone have
one of these’ it did everything weever asked of it. We moved house
three times and used it to carry
everything we owned, full to the
brim from Bristol down to Devon.
We had it for 20 years, but sadly it
died of rust on the driveway and was
sold on.
