oil leaks. The tinware was painted
beige to match the bus, so whilst
the engine was on the floor, I re-
painted it all satin black. I work in a
garage and am lucky enough to have
occasional use of the ramps which is
a big help when I need to work on it.
I have changed the tyres for smaller
ones as I wasn’t keen on the way it
sat. I’ve also fitted the over riders at
the front and added the yellow tint
to the front lenses and that’s about it.

“Future plans are just to get out
and use it. I would like to find a pair
of original over riders for the rear
but there’s not a lot else I would
change. The bus is exactly what we
were looking for. We spend a lot of
time in and around Newquay with
our bus, and can often be found
chilling out down at Fistral beach.
You can guarantee in the summer
months that there will be other
buses down there too”.
