Looks like
there’s a hidden
silencer lurking
under there
Red and white!
From the striped
sunshade right
down to the
chequered floor,
everything is nicely
co-ordinated
been dynamically balanced with
a stock flywheel. The pistons &
barrels are Mahle forged 94mm,
the cam is a C35 from SCAT and
there’s lube-lobe-lifters and heavy
duty steel pushrods. The heads are
Empi 040, polished and ported to
match the intakes. There are CB
Performance super stock 1.1:1 bolt
up adjustable rockers, SCAT HD
single valve springs with chromoly
retainers & collets and stainless
windage pushrod tubes. Carburation
is handled by a brace of Dell’Orto
36 DRLA and the SCAT tinware is
painted candy apple red.
“I fitted an IRS conversion using
a mixture of parts from Creative
Engineering and some early bay bits.
This was a good choice as trying to
run on the roads these days would
be hard work on the original swing
axle arrangement.
