All students at ETHS
now have a bell icon
on their school-issued
computer; clicking
on it tells them how
many minutes are left
in the class period.
The Chrome exten-
sion, which Leopold
created during his
freshman year, is
especially helpful on
days when the school
doesn’t use a standard
schedule because of
special events. He also
launched a student
club called codETHS;
the group created an
app that lets students
know where to go for
PE class — handy, since
the location varies
from day to day.
LAUREN GRAY
Library information
specialist
Two years ago, some
fourth-grade girls
approached Gray for
help in creating the
Big Books Club for
students getting into
longer reads. Now
when kids want to
start clubs — script-
writing, charitable
giving, and Marvel
Comics are a few
recent ones — Gray will
serve as their sponsor,
mentoring as many
as she can during her
lunch hour and before
and after school.
