Cats are generally solitary species, meaning
they prefer to be alone. If kittens are raised
together, there is a better chance of them
being friends. But when you introduce adult
cats, it is more unpredictable. You can’t make
them become friends, but you can help by
giving them their own feeding areas, litter
boxes and space to rest and hide. In time,
they may become friends! You can also try
Feliway, which is a cat calming scent to help
ease tensions between your kitties.

Great question! Dogs can definitely experience anxiety.Their
sense of smell and hearing is very different and strongerthan
a human’s so certain smells and sounds can be alarming.
You can train your dog to be focused on different commands
during walks so they associate the walks with treats and are
less focused on the scary sounds. Good luck!

I have two cats named
Mac and Cheese! They
don’t really get along.
Why is that, and can I
make them be friends?
