FIGURES

The pianist and his audience were to be built using
a number of parts of different origins, although the
main sources were various Tamiya sets.

The Panzer-man
was the least
troublesome to
prepare.

...and replaced one of the arms, in accordance with
my reference picture. As the base for the latter,
I used a modified plastic arm from my figure bit
stash. A length of wire was embedded within it.

The sleeve was
created with
Magic Sculpt.
Once I’d corrected
some details, the
figure was ready.

I reworked the legs...

The second character was
a soldier wearing an SS-fur
winter parka. In this case,
I also used a Tamiya figure
as the base.

I began by modifying the
folds of the trousers, and
seriously thinned down the
upper parts of the uniform.

This allowed me to sculpt the
parka, mainly using Magic
Sculp epoxy putty again.

The details were created with a mixture of Magic
Sculp and Green Stuff, as well as some styrene bits.
The arms were selected from my figure bit stash.
