I wasin churchwithmyfamilyandmymum

got up to go to the toilet. While she was out

her phone started to ring. The pastor stopped

talking and said, “I’ll give you a minute to get

that.” Everyone in the church turned to see

who it was while I was frantically searching

through my mum’s bag trying to find her

phone. To make matters worse my dad loudly

whispered, “Amelia, hurry up and switch it off!”

so everyone knew exactly who to look at! It

was so embarrassing. Thanks, mum!

PIGGY PROBLEM

“DuringthefirstseasonofKickin’

12 years old and beingonsetwas

all

pretty new to me. My character

couldn’t

dance to save her life, so I had to figure

out ways to dance and make it look like

I couldn’t. During the run through, all the

executives, cast and crew were there

watching and I’m up on this mat doing

this silly dance that I had made up.

I was so into it that I fell off the back of

the mat and rolled backwards! I was so

embarrassed but I just kept smiling and

kept going. Everyone was like, ‘Oh my

gosh, are you okay?’ I remember being

so embarrassed!”
