Mixed Media Scrapbook Planner

I created a background by using Distress Oxides dabbed onto
packaging, sprayed with water then printed onto the paper. I often
use this technique to create Mixed Media backgrounds. On top
of the Distress Oxide I added some gesso through a stencil to
give it more texture. Over this I stamped in black ink the Planner
Essentials stamps. I also used these stamps to create some
die-cut circles with the text, “Photo of the day” and “I love you”.
I added some more Distress Oxide on a piece of mixed media
paper using the same background technique as before, then
stamped the image and die-cut it with the corresponding die from
the Planner Essentials. I used some paper to mat my photo and
finished it by drawing some lines along the edges of the papers. I
hope my planner layout inspires you to make something like this
