Craft Stamper – August 2019

(Brent) #1
Wish you were here!
You can never stamp and colour too many flowers! I always stamp, paint and cut out more
flowers than I need. You never know when you might need to reach for one to make that
emergency birthday card!

I decided to use some of my leftover flowers and turn them into postcards.

Mask off the back of a postcard using clean scrap paper and washi tape, this will keep your card
clean and pristine whilst you are painting. Paint your sky, sea and sand onto the card. Add your
stencilling/stamping to the dry, painted background. Using a strong adhesive, attach your blooms
to the postcard. Apply a coat of matte medium to seal your card to give additional protection for
it’s travels.

Why
not try?...
Have a go at creating your
very own countryside scene
or maybe some rambling hills?
Imagine filling a painted canvas
meadow with blooms a plenty
or a river bank setting with
grasses and a smattering
of flowers.
