1 Deposit a small amount of Butter and
Seaglass paint onto the Monoprint
Plate.

2 Brayer the paint, taking care not to
overblend. Mist with water.

3 Press a piece of Dura-Lar into the wet
paint. Lift straight up.

to finish the project: After creating the background, heat-emboss the edges of the Dura-Lar piece. Layer a piece of book paper
onto white cardstock, then on black. Wrap with sheer ribbon and glue to the card front. Stamp the butterfly trio on white card, then
partially-embossed them with Sea Mist. Spatter the piece with watery Gold paint. A piece of white card was painted gold to create a
mat, and when dry, sprinkled with Sea Mist and heated from underneath. (No embossing ink required!) Simply assemble as shown,
adding pearls and a teal ribbon.

4 Use Cut-N-Dry to stencil gold spatters
onto the Dura-Lar.

5 Stencil half-circles onto the Dura-Lar
with embossing ink.

6 Cover with Sea Mist embossing powder
and heat set. Repeat as desired.

Your embossing powder
goes a long way! I use a
folded piece of scrap paper to
catch excess powder, then
funnel it back into the jar
when I’m done.
