1 Pencil out the area using a spirit level
and tape measure, marking the centre
with a cross. Start printing to the left or
right of this cross.

2 Pop a little paint into your roller tray and
pick up the paint with your foam roller.

3 Roll your roller up and down on your flat
tile, removing any excess blobs of paint.

4 Holding your stamp face-up, roll the
paint across it until it looks evenly
spread, don’t press too hard or you’ll
flood your pattern leaving splodges on
your wall.

5 Looking through your clear stamp,
carefully line up the edge with pencil
lines and place onto the wall.

6 Press the stamp firmly in place.
Release and lift. Turning the stamp,
repeat steps 4-6. Add more paint if you
need to.

Step-by-step... Tile Printing

Designer tip...
I can’t stress enough that you roll the
paint on sparingly when applying it to
your tile stamp. This will stop your tile
sliding across the wall.

Don’t fancy stamping faux wall tiles? This
amazing stamp can be used for loads of
other projects too! Check out our blog to
see the simply gorgeous stamped tote bag
project Fran created for us! We love it!
