Inhale the future, exhale
the past

Are you ready for the holidays, for
the sea? Ready to swim with the sea
creatures? To just let go of everything and
enjoy the holidays and warm weather?
Well, here we are!
I was so inspired by the colours and the
theme, I could almost feel the water.
I started by stamping the seahorse
and the tiny fishes and masked them
with drawing gum. Next I applied
Distress Oxide ink to my panel using an
acrylic block and some water. This is
a very simple technique which creates
movement. Water doesn’t look solid,
so that was my idea behind this. After
spritzing some ink on the panel, I added
a bit more texture using the doodle dots
stamp in a darker (Rusty Concord) colour.
I stamped the sentiment and matted the
panel with coordinating card stock before
adhering it to my card. Don’t forget to rub
off the drawing gum!
