Beachy Tag

I used the same tissue technique on this
MDF tag, adding muslin scraps and a
touch of crackle for interest. This time
my focal point was one of the beautiful
quotes from the stamp collection. I
stamped this onto a scrap of card, using
clear embossing enamel to make it stand
out. As with the first project, my own
artwork features on the kindly sun’s face.
Designer Tip...
For collage, tear coloured
tissue carefully rather than cutting
with scissors. Wetting the edges
with a paint brush can help with
accurate, easy tearing. This way, if
it’s a similar colour, the torn edges
will blend perfectly with your
background.
