RESISTANCE BANDS ARE VERY PORTABLE – GREAT FOR TAKING ON HOLIDAY


LUNGE TO
BICEPS CURL
Works Legs, glutes and biceps
Reps: 15 on each leg

●●From standing, step on the band
with your left foot, stepping your right
leg straight out behind you (A).
●●Hold the handles of your band in
each hand with your palms facing up.
●●Lower into a lunge while performing
a biceps curl (B). Keep your core
engaged throughout the move.
Complete 15 reps on this leg, then
switch legs and complete 15 reps.

BACK ROW
WITH TRICEPS
KICKBACK
Works: Back, core and triceps
Reps: 15

●●Stand with your feet hip-width
apart on your band, holding a
handle in each hand.
●● With a slight bend in your
knees, a neutral spine and your
core engaged, pull your elbows up
high to perform a row (A).
●●Extend your arms behind you,
squeezing your triceps (B).
Reverse back to the start.

POSTURE
PERFECTER
Works: Back, chest, shoulders and core,
and improves posture
Reps: 15

●●Hold the band above your head so
it’s taut and your arms are straight (A).
Make sure your abs are engaged.
●●Keeping your arms straight, bring the
band down, in front of your chest, and
open your arms out and back so the band
stretches across your chest. Squeeze your
shoulder blades together as your arms
stretch back (B).
●●Bring your arms back to the start.
