Horned Helmets On

VIKINGS?
MYTH: The horned helmets we’ve seen on
Vikings in television and movies may look cool,
but they aren’t historically accurate. No found
Viking helmets have poked anyone’s eyes out.
According to The History Channel, the myth of
horned helmets dates back to the 1800s, when
Scandinavian painters depicted Vikings in their
art wearing the exaggerated headgear.

Pop Rocks + Soda:

Can they bust a gut?
MYTH: Although it’s been said for ages that a combination of Pop Rocks
and soda could cause a stomach explosion, the official Pop Rocks
website has put an end to the rumour by confirming that the two
don’t make an explosive pair. Avoid Pop Rocks and soda for the bad
taste and sugar rush — not the explosion.
