for one. For those with less coin in
their wallet, Chevrolet Performance
offers a drive system that lets you
ditch the V-belt while still being ableD
o you ever look at your classic small-block Chevy with its
20th century V-belt drive system and wonder why it is still
there? This happens when you’re on a long weekend drive and
get a generator light or the coolant temperature gauge pegs the needle
and your nose is assaulted with the sweet aroma of antifreeze. You raise
the hood only to discover the V-belt is gone and you’re in the middle of
nowhere. Every time this happens you promise yourself you’re going to
install a serpentine belt drive system. This problem is made worse by
