HellcatandChargerScatPackmodelsfor2020.
ThenewWidebodyexterioradds3.5inchesofwidthtocover the 305-section, 20-inch Pirelli rubber on all corners, and new
frontandrearfasciasalsocomeaspartofthepackage.Other features include Brembo six-piston front calipers with two-piece
frontbrakerotorsandBilsteinthree-modeadaptivedamping shocks.
Thesechangesalonemakethe 2020 ChargerSRTHellcatWidebody run 2.1 seconds faster on a 2.1-mile road course
comparedtoa 2019 model,andwillallowthe 2020 modeltohit .96 g on a skidpad. That’s about 13 car lengths after a single
lap.Addedmeatonthegroundmeansthatthe707-hpHellcat will hit 60 in 3.6 seconds and run the quarter-mile in under
11 seconds(Dodgeclaims10.96...).
ThesamepackageisalsoavailablefortheChargerScatPack, and its 485-hp 6.4-liter naturally aspirated V-8. The Scat
Packversionshouldmakethetripto 60 in4.3secondsandrun the quarter in 12.4 seconds. Its grip manages to be even more
prodigious,pulling.98gontheskidpad.Itrunsthe2.1-mileroad course 1.3 seconds quicker than before, which works out to
eightcarlengthsinalap.
Pricingwillbeannouncedshortly.Orderswillcommencein the fall of this year, with production models expected to show
