ABU DHABI, ARE you ready to rock to the
sounds of The Killers?
The Las Vegas indie stalwarts are
performing as part of this year’s F1 Yasalam
concerts. The band will take to the stage at du
Arena on Sunday December 1, after the 11th
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Brandon Flowers and co. are the second
act to be confirmed for the 2019 line-up, after
US rapper Travis Scott, who will perform on
Saturday November 29.
This is not the first time The Killers have
performed in Abu Dhabi, having previously put
on a show at Emirates Palace back in 2009.
The group are best known for their hits Mr.
Brightside, Somebody Told Me, Human and
When We Were Young, and recently wowed
Killer addition to Yasalam line-up
thousands of fans as headliners of this year’s
Glastonbury festival in England.
While two more acts are still to be
confirmed for the massive concerts, it’s
already looking like another great year of live
music in the capital.
As always, passes to the
concerts are for those who
have tickets to the Grand Prix
itself. They’re on sale now, with
prices starting at Dhs699.
The good news is that an
early bird discount is currently
on offer, giving fans 20
percent discount on tickets
until July 31.
Not bad, eh? Plus, if you’re
a massive fan of either of the acts already
announced, or the two to be announced in
the coming weeks, you can upgrade your
ticket and access the golden circle (that’s the
bit right down the front of the stage) for an
additional Dhs195.
So if you want to be involved
in the biggest week of the year
in the capital, there’s how to
do it. We’ll see you at the gigs
and by the track, and we’ll
be keeping you posted with
everything in the build up.
O From Dhs699 (for the Grand Prix).
