Making waves: Daisy’s advertising
debut and, right, with mum Richardson

HARRY POTTER star Zoe Wanamaker, the
daughter of actors Sam Wanamaker and
Charlotte Holland, reveals her late mother
urged her to go under the knife before
embarking on her illustrious career.
‘My mum gave me a nose job. I used to
have a little bump — a ski jump — on my
nose,’ explains Zoe, 70, who has never
before opened up about having any sort
of cosmetic surgery.
‘Mummy said to me: “You can’t be an
actress with a nose like that.” You can’t
tell now, can you?
‘My parents were really against me
becoming an actress and tried desper-
ately to put me off it... but it was too
late — I was hooked.’

CaRole BaMfoRD,
founder of Daylesford
organic in the Cotswolds,
has devised her rules for
a perfect picnic. ‘Piles of
crunchy raw vegetables
with dips, some crusty
bread and cheese,
quiches and tomatoes
you bite into like
apples,’ says lady B.
‘and there’s nothing
better than a crunchy
english radish with
butter and salt.’ as for
company, she adds: ‘The
more the merrier — I
love big gatherings, with
all ages, and of course I
would never leave out
the dogs.’

THE lucky breaks keep on coming
for actress Daisy Bevan, scion of
one of our most illustrious
acting dynasties.
Having followed her parents,
TV star Joely Richardson and film
producer Tim Bevan, into the
dramatic arts at the age of just
five in movie Elizabeth, the 27-
year-old is now making waves in
another competitive field.
Making her modelling debut,
she has been unveiled this week
as the new face of ‘woke’ Ameri-
can shirt brand, Meme Chose.
Co-founder Jessica Joffe says

hiring Daisy — granddaughter of
Vanessa Redgrave — was a no-
brainer: ‘In addition to her great
talents, she has a very strong
sense of herself which translates
to her personal style.’

Former Strictly star rob
rinder will be watching the
new series closely.
‘I’m excited about Jamie
Laing from made In Chelsea
because everyone thinks we
look alike — although people
say I look like his dad, which
is a little bit depressing,’
rinder, 41, tells me of
30-year-old Jamie.
‘I haven’t met him, but
we’ve exchanged messages
on Twitter because our trolls
sometimes get us confused.’
