your railway garden
NOTHING IS MORE FRUSTRATING than trying to
accomplish a gardening task with a product not meant for the work
at hand. Even worse is using a poorly-built tool that bends or
breaks, right in the middle of a project!
When purchasing tools, look for things such as ergonomic han-
dles or grips, metal blades/tines, and sizing/fit. Also check the
item’s warranty information — Some manufacturers offer lifetime
warranties on their products.
These tools were chosen for their usefulness in the railroad
garden. Most have smaller-scale features better suited for use with
miniature plants. We’ve grouped them into general categories
based on function. Happy gardening!
