We looking to appoint two Learning Support
Assistants to support the specific needs of students
at our school. Experience of working with children
with learning difficulties and emotional issues
would be welcome but full training will be given.

This is an exciting time to join West Hatch with an
expansion of 350 students, links being developed
with UEL to create a bespoke MA pathway for staff
and a thriving Sixth Form in the top 25% of schools

Philosophy Teacher

TEACHING ASSISTANT

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant
with the ability to support students across
the curriculum on a fixed term contract.
You should enjoy the challenges and rewards
of working with teaching staff to support
pupils, individually or in small groups.
Previous experience of working with young
people is desirable as is an interest in
supporting students who have learning and
behavioural needs. The role is an exciting
chance to play a pivotal role in a supportive

Teaching Assistant


Salary: £15,416.12 per annum

Full Time - Permanent

Teaching Assistants are appointed to work as
part of a team within the Academy and to take a
leading role in key aspects within a phase group
and/or to take responsibility for the organisation
and management of specific educational
programmes as required. The post holder will
work under the general direction of the Senior
Leadership Team who will be responsible for the
overall policy of the educational programme.

The Teaching Assistant will be a member of a
multi-disciplinary team, under the leadership of
other senior staff. Under the agreed educational
plan, the post holder will work to a level reflected
by the grade of the post.
